The Little Fairy

The play Little Fairy was created on the basis of the old Slavic legend, which came to us as an oral story.
The main character – The Prince, a young man, realises that almost all the girls who reached the ball in his
castle dream of becoming queens, but, in fact, their love is not directed at him, but at the crown and power.
Disappointed and lonely, he went to the old linden tree and there he watched the Little Fairy play under the
moonlight. The Prince, amazed by her beauty and her sincere and natural behavior, falls in love with this
wonderful, little creature. In this story, Little Fairy is not just a young girl, she is a great, powerful, little creature,
who is a symbol of true love. She can grow or decrease, depending on the strength of pure feelings of her
beloved.
The show is recommended for children over the age of 5.
The Little Fairy promises to the Prince that she will be his only if he loves her forever and only her. It is very
easy to make the promise in the context of a wish for true love, but it is very difficult to keep the given
word.
The story of the Little Fairy is not intended for children only, but a fairy-tale plot, dynamic action and colorful
characters make it exceptionally entertaining to children. Additional, deeper meaning and subtext are
directed towards adults, who, like children, will enjoy the show.
